Seth Meyers Will Be Hosting 2014 Emmys

Man, it has been a great year for Seth Meyers, huh? First, you get tapped by your good friend Jimmy Fallon to take over his show. That would be huge enough for anyone. Reality is, people have really enjoyed him as a late night host so far, and it only seems to be opening even more doors for the funny man. Today, we are met with the news that Seth Meyers will be hosting the 2014 Emmys, and we could not be happier for him.

The Emmys is set to air on August 25th of this Summer with Meyers on MC duty. As many of you know he has hosted the Espys and even led the keynote at the White house before, so this wont be his first time hosting a massive event. But the draw for fans of Seth is just how natural he always seems. Almost as if he doesn’t even get nervous. It is that laid back energy that convinces us he will be a great host for the 2014 Emmy Awards. I, personally, think it is a genius move to have a host host. They are already comfortable in front of camera, and also, have an already established relationship with a lot of the celebrities. That is win win for all involved.

Like I said, it has been a great year for Seth Meyers, and it seems like it is only set to get better and better. Keep your eyes out for Meyers as host of the Emmys in August.
