JP Cooper drops 'The Reason Why' visual with Stefflon Don and Banx & Ranx

Singer-songwriter JP Cooper has unveiled the music video for ‘The Reason Why’, his collaboration with rapper Stefflon Don and production duo Banx & Ranx.

The visual takes places in a club and sees JP and Stefflon recording their verses amongst a crowd of people who are dancing the night away. The music video has such a cool and sensual feel, perfectly matching the vibe created within the breezy island-flavoured track.

Speaking about the song, JP said: “I’m so happy to finally be releasing this track. It’s been kicking around on a hard drive for quite some time now, but it never quite felt finished…. until Stef got on board. Banx & Ranx have brought their signature island vibe and Stef’s presence on the record offers the prefect juxtaposition to my delivery. This is why I love collaboration so much!”

‘The Reason Why’ follows on from JP’s previous release, ‘Sing It With Me’ featuring Astrid S. Following its release back in May, the track has garnered more than 55 million streams. Both tracks continue to show JP’s versatility as an artist, proving that he is capable of creating infectious releases with soul time and time again.

JP will be heading back out on the road next Spring, with a huge UK and European tour. Kicking off in Glasgow on April 15, JP will visit the likes of Manchester, Bristol, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, and Oslo before finishing off in Copenhagen on May 29. He will also be performing at London’s Brixton Academy.
